SpeedFit continues national expansion with latest studio opening on NSW Central Coast studio

EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) personal training franchise company, SpeedFit, is continuing its national expansion with the opening of its latest location at East Gosford on the NSW Central Coast.

Set to open on Monday 19th July, this will be the 22nd studio in the chain, with five more confirmed to open in the coming months.

Originating in Perth in 2013, SpeedFit spent several years building a presence in Western Australia before commencing its expansion on the East Coast in 2017.

Explaining the expansion of the brand, SpeedFit Chief Executive and co-founder, Matej Varhalik stated “it is a great thrill to see the SpeedFit brand expanding across Australia, especially during the challenges presented by the pandemic.

“We have had some great results in New South Wales with our studios in the Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Kotara and Bella Vista, and this latest location in East Gosford on the Central Coast now provides us with a greater footprint to take the brand even further.”

SpeedFit welcomes Chris Bell and Tony Wilkinson as co-owners of the East Gosford location with Hayley Portlock, Bell’s partner, taking on the role of studio manager.

Looking forward to the opening, Wilkinson advised “my wife and I have been training with SpeedFit for over six months, and absolutely love it.

Knowing the individual benefits it's given us and still reflecting our own personal fitness objectives, we wanted to bring this to the Central Coast for our whole community to enjoy.

“I have owned numerous businesses over the years throughout Sydney and the Central Coast including restaurants, night clubs, security services and various other ventures. Running security for dozens of venues on the coast for over 15 years has penetrated numerous social and business networks. I also run multiple community pages on social media with broad and trusting followings, so I am looking forward to introducing SpeedFit to our community.”
