South Australian company MyVenue grows its exports to $7.3 million in the United States
MyVenue, a South Australian company based at Adelaide’s Lot Fourteen precinct and specialising in stadium and arena (POS) software, has significantly expanded its footprint in the United States - now growing its exports to an impressive $7.3 million in the US market.
Founded in 2020, MyVenue has rapidly made its mark and is now found in 78 major venues across Canada, UK, Australia and the US including the home of two of this seasons NFL Playoff teams, the Miami Dolphins and 'America’s Team' the Dallas Cowboys.
The company’s growth in the US in the last 12 months followed targeted support from the South Australian Department of Trade and Investment, including customer introductions, industry advocacy and being presented at key trade events.
MyVenue, which launched in 2020 and secured its first customer in the US in 2021 has experienced phenomenal growth.
The POS solution also includes a mobile ordering app, online portal for corporate box orders, self-service kiosk, real-time dashboards and full inventory control.
Trade and Investment Minister Nick Champion visited America during a trade mission last year and experienced MyVenue’s leading-edge technology firsthand.
In Australia, MyVenue is deployed in prominent hotels, cafes, community sports clubs and retirement villages.
Major venues using the MyVenue POS solution include:
Hard Rock Stadium home of the Miami Dolphins in the NFL, the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix and Miami Open Tennis Tournament
AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL
Lucas Oil Stadium home of the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL
State Farm Stadium home of the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL and host of Super Bowl LVII (2023)

The company won the National Small Business category at the Australian Export Awards in November 2023.
MyVenue also recently signed a reseller agreement with a UK partner resulting in sales growth in the broader British hospitality sector. In 2024, MyVenue will continue its expansion throughout the US, Canada and the UK.
In December 2023, the South Australian Government appointed John Elink-Schuurman as its new Washington DC trade office director. The office joins other US-based South Australian trade offices in Houston, San Francisco, and New York City.
South Australia currently has its largest ever overseas trade office footprint.
SA Minister for Trade and Investment Nick Champion notes “We are working to assist South Australian companies looking to enter new markets and support them in making business connections and forming relationships that lead to contracts.
“MyVenue’s innovative software is making a real difference to sporting and hospitality venues around the world and I’m delighted that our Government has been able to support MyVenue in their endeavours to grow their business in the US.”
