Smart Connection Company sheds training arm
Recreation and sport industry consultancy the Smart Connection Company has completed the sale of its Smart Connection Training (SCT) business to Community Training Initiatives.
Announcing the recent sale, Smart Connection Company Managing Director Martin Sheppard advised "it is with great pleasure that I share the news that I have sold the Smart Connection Training business to an amazing organisation that will be able to take it to another level that I only could aspire to.
"Community Training Initiatives now are the owners of SCT and all the staff remain and we have invested in a few new positions ready to grow and succeed in the school based training market."
The sales sees Briony Schofield remain in post as SCT General Manager.
Sheppard plans to now focus on his recreation and sport industry consultancy where he is seen as a leader in synthetic sports surfaces.
Established as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in 2010, SCT offers a complete industry qualification pathway in partnership with industry bodies to ensure courses meet the needs of the sport, recreation and fitness industry.
