Singapore Sports Hub the centrepiece of National Day celebrations

The newly completed Singapore Sports Hub is today the centrepiece of Singapore's 49th National Day celebrations.

A series of events will be running today in and around the $1.3 billion precinct including a multisport carnival, Singapore's National Day parade and tours of the new National Stadium.

The public are currently able to use Sports Hub facilities for free, with this free access extended until 17th August in the past week

Sports Hub Chief Operating Officer Oon Jin Teik explained "we wanted to give something back to the community in celebration of this year's National Day. 

"We look forward to welcoming more visitors to watch, play and make sport part of their daily lives."
