Sea World unveils Ray Reef and Jet Rescue

Gold Coast theme park Sea World has launched Ray Reef, an interactive educational exhibit including 100 different species of Sting Ray.
Guests will be able to hand feed a variety of Ray species while they learn about them.
Speaking about the launch of the new exhibit, Trevor Long Sea World's Director of Marine Sciences, explained "Ray Reef will allow Sea World visitors to learn all about the Ray's place in the ocean eco system during one of the many live educational presentations.
"Sting Rays are majestic creatures and Ray Reef will showcase their graceful ability to manoeuvre underwater as well as allowing visitors to touch and observe these wonderful animals in a truly interactive exhibit."
The theme park has also unveiled the new Jet Rescue coaster which sends guests on a mission to save marine life as part of the Sea World Rescue team.
As Warner Village Theme Parks Chief Executive John Menzies explains, the ride sees riders "climb aboard a Jetski and then zoom around an amazing track, flying and twisting past pristine rock pools at an exhilarating 70km/hour before entering a dark and dangerous blowhole cave where a sea lion waits desperately for your help."
