SAS Supplier Group spotlight the safety benefits of new Aluminium Innovation product
SAS Supplier Group, the makers of a pioneering new product - AI (Aluminium Innovation) - is warning that a range of Australian retailers and builders are still risking people’s safety because they are still using highly flammable composite panels.
SAS spokesperson, John Wilson advises that these panels are “a silent killer” and can combust as soon as fire hits them – allowing flames to race up the sides of buildings.
Wilson highlights the new Aluminium Innovation product is aimed at numerous industries and is a much safer non-combustible option offering versatility and made with exceptional quality.
Wilson notes “we are very much trying to get the message across to numerous industries including retail, shop fitters, shopping centres, people providing temporary housing, local councils and indoor play centres.
“We are also wanting to make restaurants, hotels, caravan parks and caravan owners aware of Aluminium Innovation. We are also trying to get the message across to architects, designers, printers, project surveyors, project managers and retail managers.
“The bottom line is our new product is fire resistant, fully certified and made of exceptional quality. It is safe for schools, play centres, aged care facilities and residential projects.”
“This clever new product will give architects, designers and builders a huge variety of designs and styles to work with. Aluminium Innovation can be used for both commercial and domestic projects, without ever compromising on the design. There is a full 10-year warranty with this remarkable product.”
The new product is extremely versatile and durable, does not crack, is highly reliable and safe and comes in 1.6mm, 2 mm and 3 mm thickness and raw aluminium 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm & 3.0mm.
Aluminium Innovation is resistant to corrosion and is made of marine grade aluminium, available in a large variety of glossy and vibrant colours, sizes and thickness. A huge range of AI panels are available to purchase with the product suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Wilson adds “It is extremely worrying that caravans are still being built from aluminium that can set on fire. Our new product is totally fire safe and can save lives. If flames hit the surface of Aluminium Innovation, it simply will not ignite.
“We are concerned that numerous shopping centres and service stations serving the public, currently actually have flammable aluminium.”
SAS owner John Wang has worked hard to develop a pioneering product that won’t affect people’s safety.
Wilson says the product has surpassed any expectations they had, and highlights people are likely to pay less on their insurance as a result of switching to these much safer aluminium products.
“Unquestionably, consumers, retailers and builders now want fire safe and more sustainable products that meet the key regulations and can be relied on from a safety point of view. There are already a number of lawsuits under way looking at the concerns over other types of aluminium.”
SAS has four distribution centres across Australia – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
SAS also have their own installation manual fully certified.
