Royal Botanic Gardens' the Calyx secures Parks and Leisure Australia award

Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, The Calyx, has been awarded the Community Facility of the Year award at the 2019 Parks and Leisure Australia’s National Awards of Excellence at the Crown in Perth.

The Calyx was recognised as a space that brings people together, showcases world-class horticulture and promotes plant science through diverse education programs. Over 1,000 locals and tourists visit The Calyx every day, which is one of the many reasons why it was awarded.

Centennial Park also won its eighth consecutive Green Flag Award, cementing its status as one of the world’s best public parks and a leader in the realm of green space management practices.
