Registrations open for IAAPA’s 2018 Asian Attractions Expo

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has announced that registration is now open for Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) 2018.

Being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 5th to 8th June, the event is expected to attract over 8,000 global amusement park and attractions industry professionals from more than 50 countries.

Delegates will have the opportunity to check out the latest innovations, products and services from over 300 exhibiting companies.

Asian Attractions Expo 2018 also offers a busy program of education sessions covering a wide range of topics such as security, waterparks, show management, employee engagement, and theme park development.

This year’s Opening Night Reception will be held at Ocean Park Hong Kong on 6th June, celebrating IAAPA’s 100th Anniversary.

On the following morning, delegates can book for the Leadership Breakfast with keynote speaker, Dr Allan Zeman, Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Group, a major property owner and developer in Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong Area, one of Hong Kong’s most popular tourist and entertainment districts.

Other events include Lunch and Learn: Developing Successful Ride and Show Entertainment with Virtual Reality (VR) and Projection Mapping, and the Young Professionals Forum and Reception.

There is also an opportunity to take part in two educational tours, one to Ocean Park Hong Kong and the other to Hong Kong Disneyland.

Founded in 1997, AAE has evolved into the biggest international conference and trade show for the multibillion-dollar attractions industry in Asia.

AAE was last held in Hong Kong in 2015.
