Real Madrid announces plans to launch its own branded theme park in Dubai

Spanish football club Real Madrid and Dubai Parks and Resorts have signed a multi-year partnership, which will see the first-ever themed experiences based on the 14-times European Cup winners open at the largest theme park destination in the Middle East.

The new experience aims to enhance the fan experience with visitors offered audio-visual displays, interactive experiences, playable gaming interactions, a range of themed attractions such as a museum, rides, football skill games, hospitality outlets, and unique retail options featuring memorabilia from across the club’s successful history.

Fernando Eiroa, Chief Executive of Dubai Holding Entertainment notes “we are delighted that Real Madrid has chosen Dubai Parks and Resorts as its partner in our quest to bring the best international entertainment brands to the region.”

Dubai Parks and Resorts currently runs a Legoland park and theme parks inspired by the Hollywood and Bollywood film industries.

Designs are being finalised with an anticipated opening in late 2023. Further details will be announced over the coming months.
