Racing pigs and Jetpack stunts among entertainment acts planned for 2023 Royal Hobart Show
Entertainment acts for this year’s Royal Hobart Show are now being contracted with many popular acts making a return.
The Animal Wranglers, which were a big hit last time they were at the Show in 2017, giving showgoers a taste of Outback horsemanship, are one of the first entertainment acts to be secured for the Show.
Gold Coast based Jetpack Entertainment came to the Show last year and was so well received it’s coming back again this year, as well as Noah’s Racing Pigs from Queensland.
Operations Manager at the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania, Mitchell Spong shared “technically far less sophisticated than the jetpack stunts, the feedback we receive each year shows the racing pigs are simply adored by children.”
As well, Eljay’s Junk Yard Action Show will be at the Show this year. As Brisbane’s Courier Mail put it: “Eljay isn’t your normal stunt bike show – it’s a performance of crazy, gravity-defying stunts that never fails to captivate audiences Australia-wide”.
Entries remain open for Show competitions. For those interested in entering, go to www.hobartshowground.com.au/show-sections
