Quayclean Australia launches new supply network
Australian-owned venue cleaning expert Quayclean Australia, has today launched its new commercial arm, Quay Supply Network, to assist public venues, businesses and schools source and supply cleaning and protection products.
Quay Supply Network specialises in supplying hand sanitisers, anti-bacterial hand washes and soaps, hospital grade disinfectants and a broad range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Quay Supply Network was founded from customers demanding genuine service from product suppliers, searching for commercial competitiveness, and sourcing Australian-made products.
Quayclean Australia Chief Executive, Mark Piwkowski, said the creation of Quay Supply Network was particularly pleasing during Australia’s most challenging business period since the Great Depression.
Piwkowski noted “Quayclean Director, Sash Petrevski, has led the charge and has been working tirelessly behind the scenes over the past 4-6 weeks to establish supply chains with Australian-made manufacturers and test the viability of the business in the marketplace.
“Pleasingly, it has been enthusiastically supported by customers and this new start-up company has allowed us to retain staff who may ordinarily have been retrenched as a result of the impact of COVID-19. It is now a new profitable arm of our business and one which we anticipate will grow strongly.
“With over 18 years of environmental cleaning experience, Quayclean is uniquely qualified to provide safe, sustainable cleaning in a wide range of environments. The quick spread of COVID-19 has called for immense flexibility and adaptability to all of our cleaning services.”
Petrevski, who founded Quayclean with his brother Loui in 2002, said high-quality cleaning supplies and products have never been as important as a result of COVID-19.
Petrevski advised “customers are requiring consistent supplies of cleaning and protection products to enable them to conduct thorough deep cleans and allow them to maintain commercial operation.”
Piwkowski said Quayclean has also introduced a new Safespace communication initiative.
Safespace is a series of information certifications such as touchpoint, floor and seat stickers, caution tape and door hangars which has been designed to give patrons, students and staff the confidence and reassurance that the highest level of sanitisation and cleaning are in place, to keep them safe when entering a facility.
The program also offers short videos and animations to be sent out to the general public, staff or students to assure them that all correct procedures are in place, and make them feel confident to return to work, school or sporting / entertainment venues when restrictions are lifted.
Piwkowski added “these initiatives are designed to provide everyone with a high level of confidence and reassurance the highest levels of cleaning and sanitising has been undertaken to keep them safe.”
