Qatar National Convention Centre exceeds expectations
The Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) has exceeded its revenue target well before the end of its first year of operation, posting an estimated economic impact of QR72.84 million (US$20.1 million) from overseas visitors.
In its first seven months of operations, QNCC has hosted an impressive 128 events, catering for more than 128,000 visitors, according to the Centre's Director of Business Development, Trevor McCartney.
The Centre recently won the title of 'Middle East's Leading Exhibition & Convention Centre' at the World Travel Awards 2012.
