Perth Racing names Brock Neeling as Racecourse Manager
Perth Racing has appointed Brock Neeling to the position of Racecourse Manager, bringing extensive hands-on experience in the preparation and maintenance of turf and synthetic tracks and horse related infrastructure.
Neeling joined Perth Racing in February 2022 as Assistant Racecourse Manager, and for the past few months has been acting as Interim Racecourse Manager.
Perth Racing Chief Executive James Oldring commented “In his time at Perth Racing, Brock has demonstrated outstanding work ethic, commitment, and knowledge. He has quickly earned the respect of his colleagues and industry participants. I’m delighted that he has accepted the position of Racecourse Manager. There’s a huge amount to look forward to for the Club in the coming months with the first running of The Pinnacles (supported by TABtouch) and our return to Ascot Racecourse.
“I am confident Brock appreciates the responsibilities that come with the management of the Club’s most valuable assets and look forward to working together with him to deliver an event that WA can be proud of.”
Brock Neeling added “It’s been an aspiration of mine to join the metropolitan ranks as a Racecourse Manager since very early on in my career, and it’s an honour to come back to Western Australia at such an exciting time for WA racing.
“The racecourse team here at Perth Racing are held in high regard nationally, racing twice a week across two venues. We look forward to continually improving our product and providing the best facilities possible for our stakeholders.”
The 2022 Spring Ascot Racing Carnival commences on Saturday 8th October 2022 with Crown Perth Opening Day and ends on Sunday 1st January 2023 with TABtouch Perth Cup Day. The new racing event series The Pinnacles kicks off on Saturday 12th November and runs for five consecutive Saturdays.
