Penrith fitness club gets acknowledgement as industry leader

A newly opened club in the Western Sydney suburb of Penrith has been acknowledged for “leading the way” in Australian fitness.

Atmosphere Health and Fitness Club, which is situated on 5000 metre² site at Lambridge Place, targets all aspects of health, fitness and wellbeing.

Opened in January, the club features state-of-the-art facilities complete with a 50 metre indoor swimming pool, along with a multi-sport studio, dedicated yoga/pilates studio, interactive cycle studio, anti-gravity yoga, spin studio, cardio, active kids’ club and baby nursery, Les Mills group fitness classes, pump, step and shabam classes, plus a health and wellness centre for after workout activity.

Commenting on the club’s offering, Club Manager Dane Wigg told Sydney newspaper The Daily Telegraph earlier this year, that in planning the club “it was obvious that there was a need for more variety of activities in one club, so that people could choose what suits them best.”

The Club prides itself on offering the latest technology in training software to help maximise the effectiveness of workouts.

Wigg added “whether you are looking to lose weight, gain weight, improve your flexibility, fitness or lifestyle, an individual plan can be developed for each client.

“Before us there was no club in the area that offered a 50 metre swimming pool and eight separate training areas.

“You could spend an entire day here. You can work out, then go for a dip in the pool, have a bite at the nutrition station then go to the health and wellness centre to relax by booking a massage or spray tan.

“We want our customers to feel comfortable and inspire them to live an active and healthy lifestyle, which is why from open to close there will be staff here motivating and tending to clients at all time.”
