Peninsula Hot Springs introduces ‘adventure day retreat’
To further enhance the wellbeing journey of guests at Peninsula Hot Springs on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, guests to the hot springs attraction can now experience a new ‘adventure day retreat’.
With a belief that wellness is best approached from a holistic perspective, the new retreat experience has been created to encompass a variety of wellbeing touchpoints, offering the
opportunity for guests to be immersed in a world of wellbeing with two wellness activities, bathing in the Bath House and a nourishing lunch in the amphitheatre café.
Introducing the new experience. Peninsula Hot Springs Experiences Manager, Matt Sykes advises “this day retreat is perfect for those seeking fun and discovery.
“(The guests’) journey begins with our guided playful and detoxifying body clay experience before enjoying the invigorating benefits of our fire and ice workshop.
“To wind down from your adventure you will nourish your body with lunch and a refreshing juice in the Amphitheatre café before winding down with an afternoon of bathing in the healing thermal mineral waters of the Bath House.”
The new experience makes use of the new Bath House Amphitheatre area, opened at Peninsula Hot Springs late last year, which includes seven new hot springs pools, a stage, ice cave, saunas, a new café and wellness centre.
After this launch the team at the hot springs commenced a variety of wellness activities which combined bathing in the geothermal mineral springs, connecting with nature and a movement or mindfulness activity.
These activities include two unique bathing activities fire and ice and body clay plus Pilates and yoga movement classes which are held in the beautifully designed wellness centre.
The ‘adventure day retreat’ is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am, and the hot springs team recommend allowing at least five hours for this experience.
