Peninsula Hot Springs named World’s Best Mineral Spring Spa at the World Luxury Spa Awards

Peninsula Hot Springs has been announced the global winner in the Luxury Mineral Spring Spa category at the 2019 World Luxury Spa Awards.

Celebrating excellence in the spa industry every year, the official announcement was made at the gala awards ceremony, held this year in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on 6th July with Peninsula Hot Springs recognised in front of hundreds of spa industry professionals.

Welcoming the receipt of the awards, Peninsula Hot Springs founder, Chairman and Creative Director, Charles Davidson stated “the past year has been extremely special for Peninsula Hot Springs with the launch of our new Bath House Amphitheatre and we are thrilled that our guests constantly recognise our facility as a world class leader in the spa industry.”

The award results are based on nominations from spa guests, which are then reviewed by an expert panel of independent spa consultants from all over the world. Winners are judged on quality, innovation and service.

Davidson commented “we would like to thank every one of our guests that voted for us and we are so grateful that you put your trust in us to facilitate your wellness journey.

“We would also like to acknowledge our whole team of over 300 staff who deliver the experience we provide.”

Peninsula Hot Springs Spa Manager, Amber Genevieve noted “Peninsula Hot Springs offers a very unique menu of treatments and services that are inspired by our natural landscape and our country’s Indigenous heritage.

“The newest treatment, the Dreamtime Stone Massage was dreamt up in collaboration with Synthesis Organics and a Kurradji, Indigenous Medicine man, Mooks.

“Our constantly evolving spa menu is one of our strengths and a reason our guests return regularly.

“I would also like to thank our wonderful therapists and staff for their dedication to consistently delivering a world class experience to all our guests.”

Peninsula Hot Springs sister spring in New Zealand, Maruia Hot Springs was also announced as the continental winner: Australia and Oceania for Best Luxury Mineral Spring Spa and Luxury Eco Spa.
