Parks and Leisure Australia to stage ‘Deconstructed’ Conference series in Western Australia

Parks and Leisure Australia (WA) is to stage a series of conference events through the winter months addressing key issues of interest to parks and recreation professionals in Western Australia.

The body’s ‘Deconstructed’ State Conference consists of six one day events to be held at The Boulevard Centre, Floreat, with networking at the nearby Floreat Hotel.

The events are:

  • Friday 11th June - Leisure and Fitness Facility Management

  • Thursday 24th June - Leisure and Social Planning

  • Thursday 8th July - Leadership and Management

  • Friday 23rd July - Community Sports

  • Friday 30th July - Events and Recreational Tourism

  • Friday 6th August - Parks and Environment

Introducing the series, PLA (WA) Executive Officer, Leith Fradd stated "our industry state conference showcases the best projects, innovations and people in the parks and leisure industry.

"Every second year we come together to celebrate the 'people behind the places and spaces' in WA that make our state such a wonderful place to live.
