NZ Fitness Expo returns to ASB Showgrounds

After its inaugural success last year, New Zealand's most dynamic fitness event, the NZ Fitness Expo, will return to Auckland on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July.

To be held at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, the event will offer over 5,000 metres2 the very latest fitness equipment, performance apparel, fitness wear, commercial products, sports supplementation, education providers, fitness accessories, services and more.

FitnessNZ and the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals have partnered with the Expo, with FitnessNZ Chief Execuitve Richard Beddie stating "it's great to see such a quality event being delivered for the New Zealand consumer.

"The benefits of exercise, while well known, need more promotion, so anything that supports this should be encouraged.
"In particular we will be working with the Expo to enhance the VIP event on the Friday evening for those in the industry."

Personal trainers and gym owner/operators have something new and exciting to look forward to in the four days leading up to the Expo (Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th July with the launch of the CERTFIT Fitness Training Convention.

CERTFIT offers a fantastic line-up of eight certification courses and one full-day sales and marketing seminar designed to increase trainers skills and qualifications while educating attendees on how to build and maintain a better business.

Supported by Fitness New Zealand & NZREPs all courses are REPs registered meaning CPD Point allocations apply.

The NZ Fitness Expo will also be playing host to six high-energy fitness-sport championships, with visitors able to see the very best amateur athletes in the New Zealand challenge themselves and each other to be crowned the best of the best.

The Championship events at the Expo are:

• The Optimum Nutrition Fitness Model Contest - powered by Go Figure Low Carb Pasta

• NZ Amateur Boxing Games presented by Madison Boxing

• NZFE Strongman Championship

• The Optimum Nutrition Go Figure Showdown

• The NZ Arm Wrestling Invitational

Thanks to Optimum Nutrition, International IFBB Physique Pro athlete Steve Cook will be at the NZ Fitness Expo on his first trip to New Zealand while the Fitness Stage is back providing non-stop presentations across the weekend and two Fitness Studios will be providing a range of introductory fitness classes from leading brands.
