Nominations open for 2013 inductions into the KPMG South Australian Sport Hall of Fame
Nominations for 2013 inductions into the KPMG South Australian Sport Hall of Fame have opened, with organisers Sport SA hoping to see at least one nomination put forward from each sport to truly reflect the diverse history of sport in South Australia.
Sport SA already has around 100 nominations for the Hall of Fame on record that will be considered by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee for inclusion in 2013 but is welcoming more.
All sports that have sent through nominations in 2010, 2011 and 2012 have the opportunity to renominate candidates if they believe important information had been omitted from the original nomination form.
The Hall of Fame is intended to celebrate the entire sports community whether they be participants, coaches or officials.
Nominations close Friday Friday 16th August 2013.
Successful inductees will be announced at an announcement function and all inductees will be honoured at the 2013 KPMG Celebration of South Australian Sport Awards which will be held on Friday 22nd November at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
