Ninebot personal transporter offers easy, eco-friendly tranportation

Ninebot, the next generation of electric-powered personal transportation devices is now available in Australia.

Eco-friendly, light and simple to use, Ninebot can be used for city and park excursions as well as in zoo, theme parks, resorts, warehouses, hospitals and factories.

Ideal for use in congested urban areas, as a time-saving tool, for the elderly and in group tours, the Ninebot is cheaper than comparable products and is now backed by Australian-based servicing.

Introducing the Ninebot, National Sales Director Ray Carson explains "the Ninebot offers an affordable and high quality personal transport solution for work and play.

"The Segway revolution predicted some years ago never happened as the original Segway was too expensive, too heavy and too to get serviced in Australia.

"As a result, it never took hold, even in Queensland where they have been legal to use on public footpaths for more than a year."

Carson believes that the high cost of a Segway - they cost about $10,000 in Australia - and their size and weight make the machines impractical.

By contrast, the Ninebot weighs just 23 kilograms, about half the weight of a Segway, making the self-balancing personal transporter a more user-friendly solution.

It has a battery that can power the machine for 20 kilometres, with a maximum speed of 20 kilometres per hour - while the battery takes just three to four hours to re-charge fully.

The Ninebot also offers Bluetooth connectivity for updates and diagnose via smart phone.

Ninebots are available for an introductory price of just $4,400 (inclusive of GST) plus delivery.
