New waterslides and aquatic play area prooves popular at Moonta Bay
A new, free-to-use aquatic play area at Moonta Bay on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia has been a welcome and popular attraction since its opening in December.
Designed and supplied by Australian Waterslides and Leisure for the District Council of Copper Coast, the use of the facility, which includes splash bucket and four water slides, is free to the community.
Located on the Yorke Peninsula, about 165 kilometres from Adelaide, Moonta is a popular destination for family holiday, also offering the Moonta Mines Historical Railway, its fenced pool off the jetty, child-friendly beaches, playgrounds, a bike park and the the Copper Coast Indoor Play Centre backed by several beachfront caravan parks.
