Innovative swim and performance brand gets Australian launch

Aiming to “shake up” the swimming apparel industry, SWIMZI Australia has launched a new range of ‘water to land’ recreation and performance wear.

Developed by entrepreneur Lisa May and three-time World Champion Swimmer and multiple world-record holder Liam Tancock, the SWIMZI range aims to bring function, quality and fashion to pool deck and beach apparel, making it synonymous with the Australian lifestyle and allowing the land to water transition to take place with ease, comfort and style.

Director Lisa May says their collections include pieces that cater for leisure, performance, open water and even tri swimmers, advising “the leisure wear trend in Australia is so closely linked to our outdoor lifestyle, and SWIMZI is a unique range that caters to that. Our pieces are designed to easily transition from the pool deck to the pool, the sand to the surf or land to any open water.”

“With water-based sports as popular as ever, whether it’s swimming, paddle boarding, surfing, triathlon training or open water competition - there’s nothing more comforting than super-soft premium cotton-rich garments, giving you a cozy transition before or after your swim or surf.”

Designed in collaboration with ‘swimmers and for swimmers’ the collection includes an iconic ‘swimzi’; a take on a ‘onezie’ and an all-in-one super-comfy over garment, perfect for throwing on after swim meets or triathlon training. Other parts of the collection include a ‘deck dress’, hoodies, gym wear, leisure wear as well as personalised club kits all crafted from soft lush fabrics, luxury cotton and available in both junior and senior sizes.

Brand ambassador Tancock (pictured above) adds “I’m so excited about our collection launching in Australia. It is a known nation of water lovers with a larger-than-life swimming community who doesn’t have an apparel brand solely dedicated to their needs and lifestyle.”

“SWIMZI is here to fill that void with contemporary designs that are both practical and purposeful, offering anyone transitioning from water to land premium comfort with an edge.

“It’s an exciting range and I know anyone who appreciates the water will enjoy wearing it.”
