New Splash Park for Nambour Aquatic Centre
Sunshine Coast Council in partnership with Belgravia Leisure and the Queensland Government's Work's for Queensland program have delivered a new Splash Park at the Nambour Aquatic Centre.
The $3.26 million investment includes a children's zero-depth and fully accessible splash pad and two adventure slides, along with the recently added 44 car parking spaces.
The Nambour Aquatic Centre is managed by Belgravia Leisure and its facilities include:
50m outdoor heated pool
25m indoor heated pool (hoist access available)
covered grandstand
splash park and adventure slides.
A series of accessible tools have been developed for Nambour Aquatic Centre to "Know before you go" and understand the venues accessibility ahead of time.
