New Leadership for LLA Assets
Former Perisher Blue Director Craig Carracher is heading the executive committee undertaking the review of operations of the Living and Leisure Australia Group (LLA).
The Managing Partner and Chief Executive of James Packer's private equity firm Arctic Capital, the now Hong Kong-based Carracher has taken over the reins of the debt laden leisure company.
The James Packer led consortium rescued LLA recently took on 88% of the group after the issue of 2.5 billion new shares. LLA owned Underwater World at Mooloolaba; the Melbourne Aquarium; Siam Ocean World in Bangkok, Thailand; Busan Aquarium in Korea and Shanghai Chang Feng Ocean World; treetop walks the Otway Fly and Illawarra Fly and the Mount Hotham and Falls Creek ski resorts.
