New Indigenous tourism ‘Champions’ announced
Tourism Australia and Indigenous Business Australia, along with Tourism Western Australia and Tourism Northern Territory, have announced the addition of four new ‘Champions’.
The four operators acknowledged as Indigenous Tourism Champions Program are: Barraddict Sport Fishing Charters, Brian Lee Hunters Creek Tagalong Tours, Bundy's Cultural Tours and Maruku Arts.
The Indigenous Tourism Champions Program (ITCP) is a collaborative national program established by Tourism Australia and Indigenous Business Australia in partnership with state and territory tourism organisations. The program aims to build a reputation of reliability and consistent quality in service through selective marketing of “Champion” product.
All tourism operators in ITCP have met a range of criteria to meet the needs and expectations of the global travel trade and international consumers.
