New Hume Tennis and Community Centre opens in Craigieburn

Hume Tennis and Community Centre in Craigieburn has officially opened its doors, delivering a $7.5 million state-of-the-art regional facility to the Hume community.

The facility features 16 floodlit tennis courts including 14 courts with a Plexicushion surface (the same used at the Australian Open) and two x European Clay Courts.

The facility also features a community pavilion, play space, walking paths, car parking and landscaping.

The Hume Tennis and Community Centre is owned by Hume City Council and managed by Complete Tennis Services.

The project was delivered in partnership with Stockland, Tennis Australia and Tennis Victoria.

The redeveloped Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre has also been completed in recent weeks with the fully operational facility offering a new 50 metre pool, new amenities area, creche, reception and increased health and fitness area.
