New Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre to use MobileFit Intelligent Fitness Software
The soon to open Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) is the latest club to announce the use of exercise tracking system MobileFit.
Set to open in December, the state of the art facility will be using MobileFit's web based capabilities to assist in integrating the large number of pre sold members into the facility.
Assistant Centre Manager Paige Buse explains that "MobileFit will allow us to manage the large number of members we must integrate into the health club.
"Because MobileFit is web based we are able to send members a link to our pre exercise questionnaire where they can fill in information on their exercise history, fitness goals and injury concerns at home. This information will then be immediately available to our fitness trainers to review before each induction appointment. This will allow our trainers to spend more quality time with each member when they do come in for their induction and physical assessment. "
MobileFit Australia National Sales Manager Lane Harrison believes that web based software is becoming increasingly popular, stating "people are spending more and more time using web based applications and programs on their computers, tablets and smart phones.
"We have found this also applies to fitness; members love to use the web as part of their fitness routine, to log in, track their progress and see results."
MobileFit Intelligent Fitness Software includes:
ï¾ Online health evaluations and physical assessments
ï¾ Exercise prescription
ï¾ Touch screen kiosk for access to member's workout programs
ï¾ Iphone/Ipad applications
ï¾ Member to trainer communication tools
ï¾ Retention risk rating tools.
