New entertainment and cultural hub Bella LIVE to open in northwest Sydney

A new entertainment and cultural hub - Bella LIVE – is opening this August, bringing the ethos of the likes of Carriageworks and  Hordern Pavillion to northwest Sydney.

Bella LIVE is the latest venture from Momento Hospitality (Oran Park Hotel, The Governor Hotel), bringing big-city energy with local soul to the award-winning Bella Vista Hotel precinct. Following a multi-million-dollar transformation of its expansive 1029m² warehouse-style space, the venue emerges as a vibrant cultural hub for Sydney’s northwest - a region long overlooked by touring acts.

Engineered for scale and flexibility, Bella LIVE is fully equipped to meet the technical demands of major national and international tours, while also creating space for emerging and local talent to thrive.

It’s where connection sparks, creativity leads, and every event feels electric - whether it’s a headline DJ set, stand-up comedy night, major sporting event, or next-level corporate experience.

Designed by Archebiosis Architects, Bella LIVE combines sleek, modern aesthetics with an edgy industrial warehouse feel. The vast space is anchored by a striking 17.5-metre bar and a commanding 10 x 8-metre stage, flanked by VIP booths for an exclusive viewing experience. Bold design details - concrete-rendered finishes, glossy red accents, and marble terrazzo benchtops - are brought to life under glowing linear pendants.

The atmosphere is elevated further with immersive visual projections, a custom audio system, dynamic LED stage lighting, and moody, cinematic interiors that amplify every moment.

Bella LIVE features three main spaces:

  • Main Room: a high-spec warehouse space with adaptable staging & premium AV, featuring a buzzing bar with versatile activation zones

  • VIP Booths: elevated, semi-private lounges with unobstructed stage views

  • Green Rooms: designed to rival major city venues with luxe finishes and full amenities

Raising the bar for suburban venues, Bella LIVE is outfitted with two green rooms, complete with luxe finishes, private ensuites, and full backstage amenities. These premium spaces meet rider expectations for a-list performers, positioning Bella LIVE as a serious player on the national touring circuit.

For businesses and event organisers, Bella LIVE is a premium destination where tech meets taste – far from your average function venue. Say goodbye to beige ballrooms and cookie-cutter conferences; Bella LIVE delivers strategy days, TED-style talks, gala dinners and private events with flair, flexibility and high-end production. With modular event spaces, full AV integration, and in-house event producers, it’s the go-to for corporate launches, product reveals, networking nights and off-sites that actually inspire.

From boiler room techno nights to soulful Sunday sessions, Bella LIVE’s line-up of live acts and international DJs brings serious energy. Sports fans can catch UFC, F1 and Premier League action on giant screens in an electric atmosphere, while celebrity lunches, athlete meet-and-greets, and brand activations add a new dimension to game day.

Comedy and cultural programming - think open mic nights, improv shows, roast battles, and author talks - keep the schedule fresh and dynamic. Family-friendly events including weekend markets, silent discos, and school holiday activities round out the calendar.

Bella LIVE kicks off with a stacked opening schedule this August. World-renowned, Australian DJ Will Sparks will light up the launch weekend on Saturday 9th August, joined by local favourites Allias + Aura, DLE and Salt & Pepper.

Expect high-octane Saturday DJ sets throughout August and September, with SEKTA & Wongo (16th August), Set Mo (23rd August), JaySounds (30th August), Bag Raiders (6th September), Bella Backe (13th September), Ben Gerrans (20th September) and more all locked in to perform. Other key events include:

RNB @ LIVE Friday nights, running weekly from 5th September

  • 25th–27th September: RNB Festival

  • 28th September: Oktoberfest

  • 19th October: John Stevens (INXS Show)

  • 16th November: Daryl Braithwaite

  • 23rd November: Bulldog Gym Fight Night

  • 30th November: Never Ending 80s

  • 11th December: Comedy Cartel ft. Joe Avati

Driven by a bold vision, artist-led design, and an unwavering focus on immersive experiences, Bella LIVE is more than just a venue – it’s a cultural catalyst.
