Netball Victoria names new Chief Executive
Experienced sponsorship marketer Andrea Pearman has been named the new Chief Executive of Netball Victoria and the Melbourne Vixens.
Experienced at all levels of sport through roles covering community involvement and sponsorship among others, Pearman has worked for Australia Post, NAB, Fosters Australia and Telstra.
She is also co-founder of Inclusive Australia, an organisation focused on reducing the discrimination experienced by many Australians.
Announcing the appointment, Netball Victoria President, Carol Cathcart, said Pearman’s experience within and outside sport positions her strongly to guide the organisation forward.
Looking forward to her new role, Pearman (pictured) said she was keen to make a difference to people’s lives through building strong communities, fostering the sense of belonging and promoting wellbeing, as well as advocacy around social issues.
