Netball Australia partnership looks to expand global reach with international broadcast deal

Netball Australia has joined forces with global content distributor Inverleigh to broadcast Suncorp Super Netball and Origin Australian Diamonds matches across North America and Africa.

In a major international broadcast deal, all matches will be shown live and free across the USA, Canada and Africa, on Inverleigh’s 24/7 linear sports channel, UNBEATEN.

UNBEATEN reaches over 300 million active users in North America via major streaming platforms including Amazon Prime, Samsung TV Plus, Google TV, DAZN and XumoPlay among others.

To further promote netball in the United States and Canada, a dedicated block, ‘Netball Nights’, scheduled Monday to Thursday at 9.00pm (PT), will ensure all matches are replayed in premium timeslots, augmented by support content to engage and attract new fans to the league.

Matches are seen in Africa on UNBEATEN Primedia Sports channel, carried on the Primedia platform across Africa, with potential for even more territories to be added later this season.

Inverleigh’s co-founder, Matt Whytcross commented "we believe netball has massive potential in the United States and we’re delighted to finally have the opportunity to showcase the sport on UNBEATEN to what is a significant new audience.

“Netball is unique for its speed, precision and flair and initial data illustrates the immediate appeal of Suncorp Super Netball on UNBEATEN, attracting excellent viewership in the United States and, notably, impressive average watch time in the initial rounds of the 2025 season.

“We’re very excited to be promoting this original women-first sport and partnering Netball Australia in growing netball’s fanbase internationally.”

Netball Australia’s deal with Inverleigh follows yesterday’s announcement that Suncorp Super Netball matches will also be available across the All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN), founded by entertainment icon Whoopi Goldberg.

Netball Australia Chief Executive, Stacey West said the Inverleigh partnership is a major win for international fans, adding "this deal puts Australian netball front and centre in key global markets, giving fans across North America and Africa front-row access to the world’s best international team, players and matches.

“Together with Inverleigh, and following our exciting announcement with AWSN, we’re delivering unprecedented international exposure for our game, cementing the league’s status as a global powerhouse in women’s sport."

Australian-based viewers can continue to watch every game of the Suncorp Super Netball live on Kayo Sports, Foxtel and Binge.
