Neptune-Benson's new partnership for future in aquatics

Celebrating 55 years in business, Neptune-Benson has highlighted its corporate heritage with President Barry Gertz stating the company is "energised about the future prospects in the world of aquatics."

Gertz added "over the last five years, there have been dynamic changes within this industry and we are pleased to have played a valuable part in this global initiative.

"Neptune-Benson has always dedicated significant time creating a vision of the future that would benefit our staff, our customers and our industry associates. From the Defender filter to the Aegis covers, we believe that our contributions in technology and product development have had a favorable impact on the aquatic marketplace.

"Today, more than ever, we remain committed to this mission and I am writing to share some exciting news that will help insure the growth and prosperity of Neptune-Benson and maintain our leadership position within the industry."

Neptune-Benson has also announced that it has entered into a partnership with Audax Group, a leading investor in middle market companies with offices in Boston and New York with Gertz adding "I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Audax Group and their team of professionals who have vast experience and operational expertise in growing businesses of our size. They offer tremendous resources to help shape the future of Neptune-Benson by supporting organic growth initiatives and the execution and integration of add-on acquisitions. "

Audax Group Chief Executive Geoffrey S. Rehnert explained "Neptune-Benson is a niche supplier of quality equipment with exceptional brand recognition and industry-leading technology. We look forward to working with Barry and his team to build the Company through sales force expansion, new market penetration and strategic add-on acquisitions."

An enthusiastic Gertz concludes "together, we will be able to do an even better job of supporting the professionals who have worked so hard to make this a great industry.

"On a personal note, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a second generation member of the Neptune-Benson family business. I am very fortunate to have learned many lessons from my father, my mentor and my first partner.

"(Now) with my new partners at Audax Group, I look forward to continuing the tradition.

Thanks for your support, your friendship and the continued opportunity to be of service."
