Myrtha Pools highlights RenovAction system successes at Blayney Shire’s CentrePoint Leisure Centre Providing a counterpoint to media coverage of expensive aquatic centre renovations, Myrtha Pools has highlighted how its RenovAction system has upgraded ageing infrastructure at Blayney Shire Council’s CentrePoint Leisure Centre.
Explaining that the project is a “global showcase … as a benchmark for smart, sustainable infrastructure”, Myrtha Pools Country Manager - Australia, Chiara Cenati commented that the project “is a brilliant example of how much we can achieve in upgrading ageing facilities without the inflated budgets often seen in the news.
“Built in the 1970s, this community pool has been transformed into a modern, energy-efficient 25m competition pool with a splash pad and learn-to-swim area - all thanks to Myrtha’s RenovAction system.
“This project proves that regional and remote communities don’t need to compromise on quality. With the right approach, we can breathe new life into ageing infrastructure - faster, cleaner, and more affordably.”
Myrtha has also pointed to recent work at the pool in the remote Balgo community in Western Australia’s Kimberley.
Working with Hydrilla and MCH Solutions, Myrtha has helped to refurbish the community’s pool.
Commenting on this project, Cenati wrote “we're proud to have contributed to this transformative project. Our modular stainless-steel technology ensures durability and adaptability, making it ideal for remote locations like Balgo.”
