Moshtix adds music news and reviews; joins Apple's Passbook App

Festival and live music ticketing company Moshtix is now offering the latest music news and reviews on its site and is making its tickets accessible on Apple's Passbook.
The new features are part of a large-scale website relaunch Moshtix's first in four years.
The new site will also feature:
A fresh look and feel
An enhanced gallery section
Stronger social media integration
More prominent video content
An improved event search experience
Passbook is a new Apple App that stores event tickets in one place allowing consumers to access tickets anywhere, anytime.
Passbook also allows Moshtix and its promoters to engage with consumers more frequently through mobile notifications.
Moshtix Chief Executive Harley Evans said that the new site and its presence on Apple's Passbook strengthened the company's customer experience offering.
Evans explains "as one of Australia's leading innovators in ticketing services, it is our goal to provide the best experience for our promoters and consumers. The changes we have made are impactful and driven by what our promoters and consumers want. Our team have worked hard over the past year to provide a more complete user experience for these audiences.
"The addition of music news and reviews extends our offering and completes the consumer's user experience.
"With the new site, consumers can access more information about the events they love quicker and easier. The enhanced social media and video integration also ensures a more dynamic and interactive experience for everyone," Mr Evans said.
"These new features follow the work we did earlier in the year to ensure our ticketing system can handle major on sales, as evidenced with the success of this years Splendour in The Grass festival which sold out in record time with virtually no customer issues or complaints. We now know we can manage on-sales of any size."
On the integration with Apple's Passbook, Evans adds "mobile ticketing is fast increasing in popularity. At Moshtix, we have a proud history of leading the ticketing industry in mobile innovation. Our compatibility with Apple's Passbook simplifies the ticketing experience easier for our consumers."
Moshtix was an early adopter to event ticket delivery by mobile barcode, one of the first ticketing companies in Australia to implement the feature.
Evans concludes "it's a very exciting time to be in the ticketing industry; we are definitely feeling a renewed energy and the feedback we've had during the development stages of these projects has been overwhelmingly positive. I'm looking forward to bringing more fantastic products and solutions to our customers over the coming months."
The website redesign follows Moshtix refreshing its ticketing delivery systems to provide a more effective experience for promoters.
