Minilab for Coffs Harbour Pet Porpoise Pool

The Pet Porpoise Pool at Coffs Harbour has installed a new Fuji Film Frontier Dry Minilab DL410 to accommodate convenient onsite professional printing of visitor photos that have been captured by resident photographers.

A multiple tourism award winner, the Pet Porpoise Pool is a 39-year-old marine park that offers visitors an educational and ‘hands-on’ experience plus the opportunity to kiss a seal or dolphin, or feed the fish in the underwater viewing reef tank.

Fuji Film Tourist Parks and Events Theme Park Photo Systems Manager, Phil Moore, said the Pet Porpoise Pool is also the first leisure park site in NSW to install a Frontier Dry Minilab.

“The new high performance Frontier DL410 will enable the Pet Porpoise Pool to produce up to 650 4R prints per hour.

“Despite its small 0.5 metre² footprint, the compact Frontier DL400 can produce prints from 3.5” x 5” up to 10” x 36” at a dry to dry processing speed of just 47.1 seconds (fastest time). There is also no chemical waste or storage.

“With its new on-site facility resulting in faster production of prints, the Pet Porpoise Pool will now be able to sell prints and reprints to customers immediately.

“They also now have access to the Fuji Film Australia Tourist Park Photo System’s Chiizu Software, which allows for the automated sorting and editing workflow of images.”

Moore said the Pet Porpoise Pool can now provide high quality images on-site and also respond to the needs of its customers.
