Michael Phelps announced as Crystal Lagoons Global Ambassador
Global lagoon developer Crystal Lagoons have announced that multiple Olympic gold medal winner Michael Phelps has been named as the water-innovation company’s Global Ambassador.
A common cause to bring water sport activities to communities around the world has led to the strategic alliance, with Crystal Lagoons founder Fernando Fischmann stating “it is a great honour for us to have a great sportsman like Michael coming on board and collaborating with the company.
“We believe crystal clear lagoons will help bring swimming and water sports into communities that up to now were not able to enjoy these activities. Our crystal-clear lagoons also provide an inclusive environment for social and leisure activities within a majestic, tropical setting.”
Crystal Lagoons is actively engaged in more than 600 projects worldwide – in different stages of development. In addition, Crystal Lagoons is developing a public access model with projects in the United States, Thailand, Australia, Turkey, Argentina, and Chile.
Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, holds a total of 28 Olympic medals, including 23 Olympic gold medals.
