The Position
The City is looking for a dynamic and progressive leader to play a pivotal role in the establishment and management of their industry leading Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Perth. This exciting project provides a great opportunity for an experienced recreation professional to create a strong vision and implement strategic and operational objectives within the new facility. 

As the Manager - Aquatic and Recreation Centre you will oversee establishment, pre-opening planning, delivery, ongoing management, marketing, operation and development of the facility.

There will be a strong focus on planning and strategic alignment within an agreed operating budget, whilst ensuring compliance and quality requirements are met.

The successful applicant will possess; 

• Previous facility management experience at a senior level.
• Tertiary qualifications in recreation management or other relevant discipline.
• Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in management or other related discipline.
• Experience in the provision of a quality customer service environment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance systems.
• Knowledge or experience within the health, fitness and/or sports industry.
• Previous involvement with service contract management, preparation and procurement.
• Experience with maintaining major facilities or buildings.
• Previous facility establishment and commissioning experience (desirable).

Salary: An attractive remuneration package circa $120,000 - $150,000 per annum is on offer, depending on qualifications and experience.
