ISS named world's best outsourcing company
The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has ranked leading global facility services provider ISS as the top of its annual list of the world's best outsourcing service providers The Global Outsourcing 100.
ISS Group Chief Executive Jeff Gravenhorst, explained "we are very proud and deeply honoured that IAOP has recognised ISS as the world's best outsourcing company.
"We take the ranking as a vote of confidence in ISS and our global platform from which we integrate and self-deliver a complete set of facility services such as catering, cleaning, security, property and support services across the globe.
"I would also like to thank our 534,200 employees around the world. Without their deep engagement and all the purpose and pride they put into their daily efforts to service our customers, we would never have achieved this honour-able title."
ISS has been on The Global Outsourcing 100 list for several years. In 2011, ISS was ranked second, but this is the first time that ISS has achieved the number one position.
Jag Dalal, Managing Director of Thought Leadership, IAOP and Chairman of the judges' panel added "as applicants continually raise the bar and as the outsourcing industry contin-ues to grow and mature in many markets, competition is tougher.
"Being named to The Global Outsourcing 100 is a great achievement, particularly given the strong competition, and we are proud to recognise ISS for their excellence."
IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett concluded "as 2013 begins to see moderate growth in the economy, choosing the right outsourcing partners will be more important than ever.
"The Global Outsourcing 100 and the World's Best Outsourc-ing Advisors lists help companies easily identify partners that will help them emerge as leaders."
IAOP is the global, standard-setting organisation and advocate for the outsourcing profes-sion. With more than 120,000 members and affiliates worldwide, IAOP helps companies increase their outsourcing success rate, improve their outsourcing ROI, and expand the opportunities for outsourcing across their businesses.
The ISS Group was founded in Copenhagen in 1901 and has grown to become one of the world's leading facility services companies, offering a wide range of services including cleaning, catering, security, property and support services as well as facility management.
