Management Changes at Ticketek

Robert Blackwell has been appointed the Chief Executive for Ticketek in Australia and New Zealand.

Blackwell replaces Geoff Jones who resigned at the end of March to take up an executive position with the Sports and Entertainment group.

Announcing Blackwell's appointment, Ian Law, Chief Executive of parent company PBL Media, said Rob had an ideal background for the role at the head of Ticketek.

Law stated "he has had extensive experience in the FMCG sector with 14 years experience across a range of divisions in Coca Cola Amatil Ltd.

"In that time he has had strong exposure to the entertainment and venue sector with Coca Cola.

"Rob also has a demonstrable background in developing businesses and we think he can make a great contribution to the continued growth of Ticketek.

"Rob will be a good cultural fit with the executive group at Ticketek and also with the senior management team of PBL Media."

Blackwell takes up his new role at Ticketek today.
