Man dies and woman injured after 10-metre fall from Far North Queensland zip line
A man has died and a woman has been injured in an accident at a zip line park in the Daintree rainforest in Far North Queensland.
The woman, aged in her 40s, has been flown to the Cairns Hospital in a stable condition with injuries to her shoulder and arm.
The pair are reported to have fallen more than 10 metres from the zipline.
Emergency services were called to the attraction run by Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours at Cape Tribulation about 2:30pm today while a rescue helicopter was also dispatched.
The pair are believed to have been guests riding the attraction.
Queensland Workplace Health and Safety has been notified.
