Madame Tussauds Sydney offers free entry to frontline workers
Madame Tussauds Sydney is offering free entry to frontline workers throughout July as part of a global effort by parent company, Merlin Entertainments to donate 30,000 tickets to emergency and essential workers across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, UK, and North America.
As a thank you from Madame Tussauds Sydney to frontline workers in the community - emergency services, teachers and healthcare professionals – they are invited to a free day out with over 100 famous figures in 15 zones of interactive activities and exhibits.
Merlin Entertainments advise that “they can send a bat signal in Gotham City, lift a helicopter with Superman in Metropolis and help Wonder Woman wield god-like power through her wrist gauntlets.
“Guests can also rub shoulders with the Hemsworths, party with Pink and Lady Gaga, cook alongside Curtis Stone and meet the Royals.”
Merlin Entertainments’ Darling Harbour Attractions General Manager, Richard Dilly notes “every day these brave individuals put their lives on the line to protect, defend and educate the wider community.
“Free entry throughout the winter school holidays and beyond is the least we can do to say thanks and show our gratitude for their extraordinary service.”
Free entry at Madame Tussauds Sydney extends to teachers, doctors, nurses, paramedics, police, fire officers, ambulance officers, aged care workers, pre-school workers and correctional services officers.
To take up the opportunity, frontline workers can wear their super suits (uniforms) to the attraction or flash a valid Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) card, Staff ID or proof of work.
The offer is available until 3rd August.
