Leisureinsure Australia not accepting new business or renewals

After several months of trying to establish the status of the Leisureinsure Australia Pty Ltd, Australasian Leisure Management has learned that the underwriting agency is no longer accepting new business or offering renewal of any existing business.

A statement from Leisureinsure explains “rest assured though that all existing policies are valid and are backed by Lloyd’s security.

“Leisureinsure Australia was an Authorised Representative of Blue Sky Insurance Pty Ltd and any enquiries regarding amendments to existing policies, or claims, should be addressed to Blue Sky Insurance Pry Ltd.

For claims notifications and information, please direct your enquiry to claims@leisureinsure.com.au.

The statement added “existing policyholders will shortly receive an email advising them individually of the interim arrangements that have been put in place.”

An explanatory note on Blue Sky Insurance Pty Ltd website explains “Blue Sky’s principle function is to provide regulatory and compliance services for its authorised representative, Leisureinsure Australia. “There is no intention at this time to expand the role of Blue Sky to include general retail or wholesale broking operations.

“Blue Sky is not able to provide general or personal advice on insurance products.”
