ASCTA links with ARV
Since 1st January, ASCTA has introduced a partnership with Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (ARV) that is seeing ARV deliver Swim Australia Teacher (SAT) courses in Victoria.
The partnership aims lead to a significant increase in the frequency of courses in Victoria and allow for a greater volume of swimming and water safety teachers to be accredited; it is anticipated that there will be about 2,000 more teachers receiving accreditation annually.
ASCTA General Manager David Speechley has labelled the partnership “a fantastic advance for the aquatic education sector in Victoria.”
