Last Day for Sport is Fantastic Early Bird Offer
Early bird registrations for Sport is Fantastic 09, at a cost of just $1195, have been extended until 6pm today.
The two-day international sport marketing conference on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd June is being held at the RACV Club, Bourke Street, Melbourne.
Over a dozen sporting marketing experts from outside Australia are speaking at the conference. Daragh Persse, Vodafoneâs Global Head of Sponsorship and Brand Engagement will be one of the international key note speakers along with past and current Chief Executives/Presidents of US Major League teams. These speakers are Bernie Mullin of NBAâs Atlanta Hawks & NHLâs Atlanta Thrashers; Paul Andrews of NBAâs Denver Nuggets, NHLâs Colorado Avalanche and MLSâ Colorado Rapids; and Shawn Hunter - NHLâs Phoenix Coyotes, NHLâs Los Angeles Kings and now President and minority owner of MLSâs Chivas USA.
Other speakers include Mick Hogan, Chief Executive of Wigan Rugby League, Linda McNabb from Minor League Baseball and two US Sponsorship experts; Jenna Kampfschulte talking about Sponsorship Activation and AJ Meastas talking about Sponsorship Measurement.
In addition to the main conference, there are separate Sponsorship and Ticketing Master Classes on Wednesday 3rd June.
Those who register for the main conference today will pay only $1195 inclusive of GST.
In addition, there is a special discount rate for delegates from small, niche sports, State Governing Bodies of most sports and for local sporting associations/events/clubs.
