Laserforce launches new laser tag system
After three years in the making, Laserforce has announced the launch of a new laser tag system that, it says, “delivers the most advanced visual laser tag experience ever”.
Using the very latest technology, Gen 8 Infinity features an innovative vest and phaser design with beautiful lighting effects, a capacitive touch phaser screen, an industry-exclusive interactive chest screen, and a myriad of new player features.
Introducing the new system Laserforce International founder Len Kelly explains “we redesigned our battlesuit from the ground up to be sleeker, more modern, and visually stunning.
“Once players see a Gen 8 battlesuit, they’ll never want to play a game of old school laser tag again.
“We have changed the industry forever and the traditional style of laser tag around since the 80s is now obsolete.”
The new Gen8 Infinity technology enables players to experience new gameplay objectives, power-ups, abilities, weapon types, and customisation options. They can also interact with the game in new ways via a 3.5” capacitive touch phaser screen - the largest in the industry - and an innovative, exclusive 5” chest display.
The new system has started rolling out to early adopters and will begin shipping to customers worldwide in September.
Gen8 battlesuits will be available for demonstration at the upcoming International Bowl Expo in Las Vegas, USA from 20th to 21st June at booth #815.
Laserforce has also introduced its technology at the recently opened Funstation Edinburgh, Scotland’s premier family entertainment destination.
Offering highly themed twin 18 holes indoor golf courses, a bar, and arcade area the site is home to Edinburgh’s first quality lasertag site using Laserforce equipment.
Laserforce has been operating, developing and manufacturing laser tag equipment since 1988 equipping over 350 sites operating in Australia, America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
