Key Asian sport business event returns to Singapore
Returning for its third year, the two day Sports Matters conference in Singapore sets out to attract leaders and visionaries in the global sports business to examine who and what is driving the industry, how Asia contributes to the global sports industry and what the future holds while also contributing to the expanding sports sponsorship industry in Asia.
Co-presented by Fox Sports and Samsung and supported by Sport Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board, Sports Matters 2015 is being held at Marina Bay Sands Singapore on 16th and 17th September during the week of the Singapore GP.
Following its record medal haul and impeccable hosting of the SEA Games in June, Sport Singapore Chief Executive Lim Teck Yin stated “2015 is an exceptional year for sport in Singapore. I am delighted that Sports Matters is going to feature prominently in the calendar and attend to the on-going conversation around the nexus of sport and entertainment, and the industry that is growing in the region around these developments.
“I look forward to the exchange and debate of ideas for future collaboration in Singapore and across the region.”
Being held in Singapore's 50th birthday year, this third edition of the business-to-business Sports Matters conference will see global decision makers share and exchange expertise, experience, ideas and insights to nurture the sustainable and native growth of sports in Asia.
