Jamie Hurst appointed Managing Director at Novox Australia
Hospitality equipment supplier Novox Inc has announced the appointment of Jamie Hurst as Managing Director of its new branch, Novox Australia Pty Ltd.
Hurst comes to Novox after a stellar career of nearly 30 years with SICO Incorporated throughout Australasia, Japan, and Southern Africa.
During that time, Hurst outfitted most of Australia and New Zealand’s major entertainment and sporting venues, as well as multiple hotels. With a background in surveying and civil engineering, Hurst has immense knowledge in new projects and renovations of public assembly venues, experience which can gives his clients a huge advantage.
Excited by his new appointment, Hurst stated “change is constant, and it is obvious that the industry continues to grow and progress considerably.
“It is up to us as suppliers to ensure that the needs of hospitality venues are regularly updated and met to ensure business success. I am proud to provide customers with the quality and variety of products at Novox, matched with the unprecedented service I strive to provide.”
Based in Singapore and with regional offices spanning across the Eastern Asian seaboard, Novox Inc Pty Ltd provides the industry with banqueting tables and chairs; cooking stations and equipment, as well as staging and dancefloor panels.
Novox is now excited to expand into the Australian market with Hurst as its driving force.

“We were looking to expand our group and Mr Hurst became available. It’s not often you can find someone of his experience, drive, knowledge, and contacts being available at a time when we needed a representative in this market.”
