Isuzu UTE Australia extends partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia
One of Australia’s top-ten automotive brands, Isuzu UTE Australia, has extended their partnership with Australia’s largest volunteer movement, Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) for at least the next three years.
Surf Life Saving Australia Chief Executive, Adam Weir said it was Isuzu UTE Australia’s reputation for reliability and durability that made them the best choice for Surf Life Saving Australia, offering off-road capability, towing functionality, and safety features, in a demanding environment.
Since 2021, Isuzu UTE Australia has made a significant annual contribution to SLSA as well as provided a fleet of ‘rescue-ready’ vehicles that has served by responding to incidents with essential lifesaving and rescue equipment, providing mobile patrol services, and delivering valuable education programs on the road around Australia.
Isuzu UTE Australia Managing Director, Junta Matsui notes “Three years into our partnership, Surf Life Saving Australia’s legacy of 117 years, continues to inspire us. We are honoured to extend our support for an additional three years, recognising the profound impact they’ve had on the community and the ongoing commitment to their vital mission.
“Embedded in the heart of local communities, the essence of SLSA lies in safeguarding Australian beaches and the people who frequent them. Isuzu UTE Australia is extremely proud to continue to support SLSA and the courageous individuals dedicated to beach safety through their patrols, training initiatives, and educational endeavours.”
Weir adds “all our lifesaving equipment needs to be durable to withstand the challenging beach conditions and dependable when called upon by our surf lifesavers. The Isuzu D-MAX Ute and MU-X SUV are no exception, and we are pleased to continue the partnership with IUA for at least three more years.
“It is with the support of partners like Isuzu UTE Australia that we can effectively patrol our beaches. This partnership will increase the capabilities of surf lifesavers and lifeguards in day-to-day duties and allow them to focus on what they do best, saving lives.”
Isuzu UTE Australia and Surf Life Saving Australia share that they “look forward to flying the iconic red and yellow flags together for the next three years, symbolising safety, across patrolled beaches nationwide.”
