International Federation Forum 2022 to focus on Safe Sport and Sustainable Development

SportAccord, the organisers of the global sport accord event have advised that the upcoming International Federation (IF) Forum 2022 will explore strategies and challenges relating to the key theme of ‘International Federation Impact - Leading the way in Safe Sport and Sustainable Development’.

To be held at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland on 28th and 29th November, experts and leaders from across the global sports movement will be invited to delve into best practice approaches at the key annual gathering of International Sports Federations.

The Olympic Museum, the setting for the IF Forum 2022 on the banks of Lake Geneva, will also host conference sessions, keynote addresses, and presentations on this highly relevant and timely topic for International Sports Federations and their stakeholders.

Looking forward to the event, Ivo Ferriani, President of SportAccord and the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF), stated “the IF Forum 2022 will give sport’s leaders an excellent chance to engage with experts in various fields with the aim of sharing ideas and forging new relationships that will lead to tangible benefits across various areas of responsibility and development.

“The Olympic Museum is an outstanding destination for this essential annual event, and I am very much looking forward to our community being able to meet again in person at the IF Forum.”

One Plan, Marsh and Sport Event Denmark are confirmed Official Partners of the IF Forum 2022, and further details about the event’s conference programme, including speakers and participants, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The IF Forum 2022 will also feature numerous other opportunities for Partners to engage directly with sport’s decision-makers, including VIP functions and social activities for networking.

The IF Forum is organised by SportAccord and is supported by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
