Intelligenz Solutions achieves PA-DSS Validation

Intelligenz Solutions International Inc, developer of the IntelliSpa, IntelliRecreation, IntelliLeisure, IntelliFitness and IntelliFore applications, has announced that it has achieved the PCI Security Standards Council PA-DSS validation for its Intelligenz Payments Solution.

The PA-DSS Standard is for software developers and integrators of applications that store, process or transmit cardholder data as part of authorization or settlement. It governs the applications that are sold, distributed or licensed to third parties.

Intelligenz Solutions Chief Executive Anne Battersby explains "we have a large customer base globally that process payments daily as part of their business and we ensure their investment in our software will be protected for years ahead.

"Intelligenz PA-DSS validation is far ahead of most of our competitors, outside of the North American market (and) this step confirms our commitment to protecting the confidentiality of card holder and personal data wherever cardholders make purchases from merchants using our solution.

"We strongly recommend all purchasers of new software check that the applications are PA-DSS compliant to ensure their investments are backed by a provider who has the resources and commitment to be in compliance. Without that, new purchasers' investments may be short lived."
