Indoor adventure reaches new heights in Berwick

An exciting and innovative new indoor adventure centre has opened in the in South Eastern Melbourne.

A vibrant and exhilarating fusion of climbing walls and attractions, Clip ’n Climb Berwick has three towering features: a giant Clip ’n Climb arena, a multi-level SkyTrail elevated obstacle course (including a SkyRail flying fox) and the unique Cheeky Monkey Climb adventure play zone (with a 7 metre spider tower). With over 60 spectacular climbs and elevated challenges and a café under the one 12 metre high roof, Clip ’n Climb Berwick offers healthy, challenging fun for everyone, with an extra dose of adrenalin.

The vast array of epic and ‘can’t do at home’ experiences are lifted by upbeat music pumping from an impressive Hi-Fi system.

Adventure seekers can leave the weather outside and immerse themselves in some of Australia’s most creative and awe-inspiring indoor activities in the Clip ’n Climb arena. With an abundance ofenticing 10 metre high climbs to choose from, climbers can race on the Speed Climb, shake a friend off the Inflated attraction, climb the Stairway to Heaven or take the amazing Astroball challenge.

For an extra adrenaline rush, guests can test their skill and daring on the gigantic Vertical Drop Slide or the towering Leap of Faith.

Taking adventure to new heights is the SkyTrail attraction, boasting many exciting elevated cable and wooden challenges across multiple levels up to 10 metres high. Climbers can find their feet on easier elements, then increase the thrill and challenge the higher they go, with their full body harness securely locked to the structure at all times. There is even an 8 metre high plank that allows elevated views of the climbing arena while standing on a thin protruding board.

Attached to SkyTrail is SkyRail (the only one of its type in Australia), a fixed overhead track that lets guests ‘fly’ for 20 metres suspended 6 metres above the floor below.

Younger children are well catered for also on the Cheeky Monkey Climb, a custom-designed, jungle-themed attraction with five fascinating levels towering up to 8 metres. This unique new adventure zone was specifically designed for three to nine year old ‘cheeky monkeys’ by Australia’s leading indoor play specialists.

It incorporates a spider tower that allows youngsters to safely climb up to 7 metres through a web of belts (with exits at all levels) above an LED lit inflated base as well as a speed slide, spiral slide, obstacle passages (including a kaleidoscope tube) and a fun multi-level softball battle arena (with four cannons and a ball fountain).

Children will also love the cheerful resident jungle characters: Cheeky the monkey, Tracey the tree frog, Gerry the giraffe, and the fun-loving Youcan the toucan.

Providing employment for over 30 local youth, staff at Clip ’n Climb Berwick combine the skills of entertainer, coach, referee and lifeguard.

A spokesperson for Clip ’n Climb Berwick explained that the facility “has achieved the amusement/recreation ‘Holy Grail’ by creating a healthy activity centre that has broad mass-appeal for both males and females of all ages, all at the same time.

“Clip ‘n Climb Berwick is as a truly unique event destination; there is something fun for everyone. Parents are delighted to conveniently outsource their kid’s birthday party to an age appropriate adventure centre that is both extremely fun and healthy.”

The Clip ‘n Climb Berwick team can also arrange function sessions for any type of group with three dedicated function rooms featuring audio, projectors, monitors and Wi-Fi backed up by an experienced corporate facilitator can be provided.

Safety at Clip ‘n Climb Berwick is ensured by thorough briefings/demonstrations at the start of each one hour session and the persistent supervision and coaching of many skilled and friendly climb crew. The attraction’s innovative and award winning auto belay system used allows climbers to safely climb and gently descend without a belay partner, although those under 13 years need to be checked by an adult.
